Branded (A Sinners Series)

Fifty years ago the Commander came into power and murdered all who opposed him. In his warped mind, the seven deadly sins were the downfall of society. He created the Hole where sinners are branded according to their sins and might survive a few years. At best.

Now LUST wraps around my neck like blue fingers strangling me. I’ve been accused of a crime I didn’t commit and now the Hole is my new home.

My Thoughts

I read this book a few months ago and fell in love with it. This book had everything in it: starting with strong heroine, gorgeous hero, forbidden romance, trustworthy friendships and an evil villain. This book to me was very unique because I had yet to hear of a story line such as this. The characters grow and develop throughout the book. I was excited that this book did not make me fall in love with a character just to have them turn out to be the bad guy. All the characters were straight forward. But that does not make the book boring by any means. Though out the book you learn of the hard ship Lexi had/has to face, and get engulfed in the forbidden love affair. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions with ups and downs. It also has a lot of twists and turns that you may have not seen coming.

So why am I reviewing it now?

REVAMPED!
Abi Ketner and Missy Kalicicki just released branded again! With a couple modifications. They gave the cover a complete face lift. If you are concerned because you did read the first one and now you are afraid the plot has changed (like I was). Have no fear they kept the plot the same. The difference between the book is that their writing style has grown and improved and they also added scenes to the revamp version.
